Easter Monday is also an official holiday. Most stores and restaurants will be closed. However, some stores and restaurants may choose to remain open for part of the day or the whole day but this varies from business to business. We suggest calling first.
In the streets of downtown Otrobanda The Seú Harvest Parade (Marcha di Seú) will take place to celebrate the harvest feast. Locals dress up in the most amazing costumes. It is a big, colorful event with lots of music and folkloric groups. You will appreciate and enjoy music played on traditional instruments. This parade is not as loud as the Carnival but roads in the vicinity of the route will be closed.
