A favorite Curacao reef dive site is Barracuda Point (Punt'i Piku) which is covered in dense coral formations, that includes lovely gorgonians and massive boulder corals. In addition to the tiny creatures living in the reef, sea turtles are encountered often, as well as jacks. Barracudas will also follow divers at a distance and will routinely drift along exploring the scenery in this underwater wonderland.
The average depth of this site reaches 26 meters, and the site is good to dive in all year round. Intermediate divers will do well here and the site is also easily accessible by boat.
Barracuda Point, also called Punt'i Piku, is just across the channel from Barbara Beach and is located near the mouth of Spanish Water.
