National Archaeological Anthropological Museum

NAAM is the bustling cultural resource centre in Willemstad, Curacao (Caribbean). National Archaeological and Anthropological Memory Management Foundation – NAAM - in Curaçao, is a nonprofit organization committed to the conservation and identification of the cultural heritage, tangible and intangible, of Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba in a Caribbean perspective.

NAAM was founded by the Central Government of the Netherlands Antilles (1998) as the successor of the former AAINA (Archaeological- Anthropological Institute of the Netherlands Antilles).

Presenting itself as “more than a museum”, in the course of time NAAM managed to develop into an institute that labors on a wider level for the documentation, restoration and enrichment of the collective memory.
