It Takes A Village- The Divi Family Always Delivers

A pioneer in hospitality on this island, the first Divi branded resort opened in 1969 as the “Divi Divi”. Today it is called the Divi Aruba All-Inclusive, and this year they will be adding a new wing of 60 more rooms, a new pool and a new restaurant as well. It’s located on one of Aruba’s most glorious strips on Eagle Beach and shares its own large beach front with its sister resort Tamarijn All-Inclusive. Guests at both resorts can take advantage of the ten dining spots, many pools, bars, entertainment and activities at each as part of their package. Right behind them is Divi Dutch Village for the budget minded with its own homey vibe and only a short walk to the beach. Though not part of the all-inclusive program, guests staying at this resort have the option to purchase an all-inclusive vacation package or book a room-only reservation and enjoy the resort’s full kitchens, BBQs and activities.

Not only golfers will enjoy Divi Golf Village All Inclusive- cresting its own 9-hole course The Links, but families will also love the mammoth children’s pool play area and all guests also have access to the beach. Higher end golf villas are also available - one, two and three bedrooms options, with full kitchens, and some even boast a hot tub and BBQ area on a private rooftop deck. All-inclusive options are also on offer and include everything available at Divi Aruba and Tamarijn. Also on site is full-service New Image Beauty Spa & Health Center- the only spa on the island with a hammam, and Divi’s most upscale dining spot Windows on Aruba is also in this complex.
The collection of resorts is all connected by complimentary shuttle including transportation to the Alhambra Mall and Casino.
Standing apart from the other Divi resorts is the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort opened in 1995 on Palm Beach. It’s like the Divi Village family’s trendy cousin.
This upscale modern resort is not all-inclusive, but very popular as a vacation ownership property and for stand-alone holidays. With a wide array of suite and villa concepts and one tower at 14 floors, many rooms afford fabulous sea views. And their most recently completed wing has also raised the bar in accommodation amenities with state-of-the-art tech and appliances and whirlpool tubs with laser lights.

As for dining, the theme is “pure” with purebeach and pureocean offering new menus of healthy creative gourmet fare. Executive Chef Matt Boland was appointed last year to elevate all Divi food offerings at all their resorts throughout the Caribbean. He says, “We are focusing on the community, preserving and supporting cultural dishes and sourcing locally whenever possible. We are also going into the schools to teach children to cook and eat healthy, ensuring excitement and inspiration for our future generations of chefs and restauranteurs.”
And in keeping with the pure theme at Divi Phoenix is the brand new Pure Indulgence Spa offering a full host of pampering services on site.

The Divi Difference
I’ve had the pleasure of staying at all Divi Aruba resorts over the years, and I can attest to the warm welcoming feeling of them all-each with their own unique appeal-and all dedicated to making your holiday the absolute best it can be. I also commend their special corporate programs like “Divi Cares” and “Divi Impact”, promoting local social and community causes, and all of Divi’s Aruba resorts have become EarthCheck Silver Certified in 2015.
Multiple generations of local families have worked at Divi Aruba resorts, and that close feeling of community extends to the guests, which is apparent from the record number of repeat visitors they have recorded- some returning for over 30 consecutive years to the same resort.
